Rosetta Stone is a text written by a group of priests to record the Egyptian kings "loyal kings". It lists all of the things that the king has done that are good for the priests and the people of Egypt.

1-When it made : Carved in 196 B.C.
2-Purpose : Royal decree from King "Ptolemy V".
3-Where it Found : Rosetta "Rasheed", Beheira.
4-Establishment : From the Ptolemaic era of the reign of King "Ptolemy V".
5-Place conservation : It is currently in the British Museum, and there is a smaller version in the Egyptian Museum.
6-Who Found it : "François Bouchard" during the presence of the French campaign in Egypt in 1799.
Many people worked on decoding hieroglyphs over several hundred years. However, the structure of the ancient Egyptian text was very difficult to decode it. After Several years of comparisons between the Rosetta Stone and other examples of ancient Egyptian writing, "Jean-François Champollion" decoded hieroglyphs in 1822.
Rosetta Stone has a great importance because of "Jean-François Champollion" used it to decode ancient Egyptian symbols, and this happened by comparison between the three lines, Champollion had known the Greek language and he had compared it with the two lines hieroglyph and Demotic even he reached to decode ancient Egyptian symbols.
One can appreciate the degree of civilization of the peoples according to the more or less bearable status of women in the social organization.
